Four cavers were reported overdue on a through trip from Lancaster Hole to Wretched Rabbit, beneath Casterton Fell, having set off at noon. Bowland Pennine MRT passed on a request to rescue a lamb which had fallen 20m down an un-named abandoned dig southwest of Whitmore Pot near Whitewell, Bowland Forest. A small team attended and two cavers descended, locating the lamb down a narrow rift beyond a constriction.
