A walker on an evening excursion from Settle to Ribblehead became lost after descending from the summit of Pen-y-ghent. A 3-peaks walker slipped on wet rocks just below the summit of Pen-y-ghent. His fall caused an injury to his ankle – a suspected fracture. CRO were called to assist a walker who had collapsed on the summit of Pen-y-Ghent after suffering a cardiac arrest. Despite the hard work of Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics at the scene, the outcome was fatal. Volunteer hours 36
