NYF&RS asked for assistance in rescuing a large lamb which had fallen perhaps 9 or 10 metres from the top of Catrigg Foss and was stranded on a ledge between the upper and lower waterfalls. As the casualty from incident 51 was being brought down from Ingleborough, a call was received from YAS, reporting a visitor (f, 35) with a suspected ankle fracture on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail at Raven Ray Bridge (above Thornton Force). INCIDENT 46/2022 JUN 25th SAT. 14,38 RIBBLE WAY PATH, SOUTH OF HORTON IN RIBBLESDALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A walker (m) tripped on the riverside path near Horton Wastewater Treatment Works, sustaining a suspected hip injury. A passer-by called for an ambulance and his companions made him as comfortable as possible, while waiting. YAS called CRO for assistance and after the YAS paramedic had immobilised the casualty and administered pain relief, team members carried him to a waiting road ambulance. Volunteer hours: 25  

INCIDENT 38/2022 JUN 10th  FRI. 18.34 FOOTBRIDGE OVER MALHAM BECK, BELOW MALHAM COVE, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
