INCIDENT 79/2021 – OCTOBER 19th TUE. 12.53 – KETTLEWELL AREA, UPPER WHARFEDALE, MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A walker (m, 74) was reported overdue from a walk beginning at about 09.00 on Monday. NYP found his car in Kettlewell and after carrying out its own enquiries continuedd searching and called out UWFRA at 02.57 on Tuesday. INCIDENT 19/2021 – May 19th Wed. 07.03 – Pickering area, North Yorkshire – Local Incident

A man (59) was reported to be ‘at risk’, having been missing from home near Pickering since early evening on Monday. Scarborough and Ryedale MRT searched for him through Tuesday night, supported by Cleveland MRT and RAF Leeming MRT.   They were joined on Wednesday morning by small teams from CRO, Swaledale MRT, UWFRA and MRSD(E) search dogs. INCIDENT 94/2019 – Nov. 7th. Thu. 20.31hrs – Horton in Ribblesdale – Mountain Incident

On Thursday evening, North Yorkshire Police requested the team to prepare to conduct a daylight search of North Ribblesdale for a missing walker (m, 77), whilst they continued their own inquiries overnight. Team leaders then spent the evening planning a search pattern ready to commence on Friday morning.
