A Three Peaks walker who had become separated from his walking partner on Pen-y-ghent reported the person missing to North Yorkshire Police, who notified CRO. A walker (m, 64) slipped while walking from Ingleborough to Park Fell, sustaining a suspected broken ankle. A ‘hasty party’ (fell-runners with initial equipment) assessed and splinted the injury and put the patient into an insulated casualty bag.
