INCIDENT 83/2023 SEP. 30th SAT. 17.17 CHAPEL-LE-DALE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
A group of walkers (2f, 3m, 30s) set off up Ingleborough from near Chapel-le-Dale. One member of the group turned back at Humphrey Bottom. Having later received a message from the rest of the group saying that they were lost, she called 999. A climber (f, 23) fell about 10m from the Beezley Crack route (?) on Twisleton Scar, taking her runners with her. She hit her head in the fall, but her helmet saved her head from injury.
