YAS passed on a call for a walker (m, 58) who was reported to have ‘fallen off a 1m wall’, sustaining a suspected ankle fracture on the footpath between Cappleside and Hard Head Farm, Rathmell. YAS asked for CRO’s assistance when a visitor (f, 73) fell ’10 minutes from Beezleys on the Ingleton Waterfalls trail’. Local members were put on stand-by, but when the duty controller phoned the paramedics, they were almost on scene and thought that CRO was probably not needed.
