INCIDENT 87/2022  OCT. 30th SUN. 12.13 Nr THORNTON FORCE, INGLETON WATERFALLS TRAIL, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A member of the public reported finding a visitor (m, 37) on the ground, with ‘chest pains, unable to move, poor speech and had been dizzy then fallen’ on the path near Thornton Force. Two walkers reported themselves ‘lost on Ingleborough after doing Three Peaks and believe both suffering from hypothermia’. They also said that Google maps showed them ‘0.3 miles from Low Sleights’. INCIDENT 85/2022  OCT. 14th FRI. 12.58 PATH BELOW HOOBER EDGE, PIKEDAW, MALHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A small group of horses galloped past but very close to four walkers on the path from Malham to Pikedaw, beyond Butterlands Barn.
