A Three Peaks walker (m, 41) sustained a particularly painful lower leg injury when he slipped or tripped at the beginning of the path across Simon Fell Breast — the path from Ingleborough to Sulber Nick and thence to Horton in Ribblesdale. INCIDENT 18/2023 APR. 15th SAT. 10.54 PARK FELL, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE, MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A fell-runner (f, 57) slipped on a muddy patch while ascending Park Fell from Colt Park, near Ribblehead, sustaining a suspected ankle fracture. Her companions called CRO via North Yorkshire Police, then kept the casualty warm until team members arrived.
