A walker (f, 59) fell while crossing a wall, injuring her right shoulder and back. Two team members attended and carried out an initial assessment before transferring care to Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics who arrived shortly thereafter. A group of Three Peaks walkers called North Yorkshire Police when one of the group (m, 33) went missing between Whernside summit and Philpin Lane after experiencing some difficulties. A team vehicle checked Philpin Lane up to the Hill Inn but failed to locate the missing walker.
