A group of walkers (2f, 3m, 30s) set off up Ingleborough from near Chapel-le-Dale. One member of the group turned back at Humphrey Bottom. Having later received a message from the rest of the group saying that they were lost, she called 999. A walker (f, 61) put her boot into a narrow gap between rocks, then slipped, breaking the ankle, while walking on a path from the head of Watlowes (‘The Dry Valley’) to Water Sinks, South of Malham Tarn.
