A walker (m, 64) slipped while walking from Ingleborough to Park Fell, sustaining a suspected broken ankle. A ‘hasty party’ (fell-runners with initial equipment) assessed and splinted the injury and put the patient into an insulated casualty bag. A walker (m, 34) stumbled on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, sustaining a very painful ankle injury. After the team doctor had assessed the injury and given mild pain relief, team members splinted the ankle and stretchered the casualty to Beezleys.
