INCIDENT 58/2021 – AUGUST 3rd TUE. 14.44 – BOTTOM QUARRY, STORRS COMMON, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
A climber (f, 32) fell from one of the routes on the lower quarry face at Storrs Common, sustaining lower leg injuries. A YAS crew was on scene and an air ambulance was en route when the CRO Duty Controller was called. Paramedics having treated and ‘packaged’ the casualty, team members transported her to the road ambulance on a CRO wheeled stretcher. Volunteer hours: 15
INCIDENT 57/2021 – AUGUST 2nd MON. 17.54 – NEAR SNOW FALLS, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT
A visitor (f, 40) fell on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, sustaining leg and head injuries. When the ambulance crew members were unable to find her, YAS called the CRO Duty Controller. Team members soon found the casualty, assessed her, provided pain relief and carried her by stretcher to the YAS road ambulance for the hand-over. Volunteer hours: 33

A walker (f, 26) was reported to have ‘fallen and passed out’ on the ‘Settle Loop’ of the Pennine Bridleway, above Langcliffe. Two team members and the YAS ambulance crew were able to reach the casualty in CRO 4, the team’s Honda Pioneer.
