CRO were called by our neighbours, Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA), to assist with an incident near Foxup. A 74 year old male had been injured when he was thrown off his quad bike on the slopes of Plover Hill. The injured person was cared for by Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics and transferred to hospital in their aircraft. Volunteer hours: 10

A group of 3 caver were abseiling on ropes down the vertical pitches of Aquamole Pot. During their descent, the lead caver fell down the last 12 metre deep pitch of a section of cave known as Rabbit’s Graveyard.
