A visitor (f) rang 999 for YAS, following a fall and sustaining an ankle injury ‘between Baxengill and Snow Falls, at the viewing bridge’ on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Yorkshire Ambulance Service asked for assistance after a walker (f, 42) slipped on the path from Malham Rakes (a.k.a. ‘the Tarn road’) to the top of Malham Cove, sustaining a serious ankle fracture. INCIDENT 102/2019 – Dec. 25th. Wed. (Christmas Day) 10.07hrs – Above Crina Bottom, Ingleborough – Mountain Incident

A fell-runner (f, 48) slipped on a rocky section of the bridleway onto Ingleborough, sustaining a possible fracture and deep laceration to one knee, plus a shoulder injury. She and her partner were also very cold when team members arrived on scene.
