Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) asked for assistance when a walker (m, 54) experienced chest pains on Horton Scar Lane — a popular walking route to and from Pen y ghent. After assessment by YAS paramedics from the Air Ambulance the patient was carried the short distance to the helicopter, which flew him directly to hospital. The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a medical incident involving a young infant (F, 7 months) in Horton-in-Ribblesdale village, the family having been out walking locally. Local team members were despatched and a vehicle deployed from the the Team Depot in Clapham.
