The Team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to assist with enquires and a possible search for two walkers (both M, late 60’s) who had been reported missing overnight having failed to return to their accommodation in Horton in Ribblesdale the previous evening. A Three Peaks walker who had become separated from his walking partner on Pen-y-ghent reported the person missing to North Yorkshire Police, who notified CRO. As the Duty Controller was making preliminary inquiries so that a search could be conducted, the missing walker turned up near Horton in Ribblesdale. Volunteer hours: 1
