A visitor (f, 46) fell near the top of the steps up the side of Malham Cove, sustaining a head injury. YAS requested assistance in moving the patient from the accident site to the air ambulance helicopter. Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) alerted the team to assist with a walker (F, 65) who had slipped on the path descending to Janet’s Foss and suffered a head injury. After an assessment by a team member she was able to walk the short distance back to the road and taken in a CRO vehicle to Malham car park and transferred to the YAS paramedics. Volunteer hours: 20
