A farmer’s wife left a message on CRO’s Facebook, saying that a lamb could be heard near Cowskull Pot, on the West side of Pen y ghent. A walker (m 55) phoned for help, saying that he had collapsed, felt weak and had a pain radiating from the upper left hand side of his chest. He had been walking alone and CRO was able to confirm the walker’s “off-piste” location at the edge of The Allotment on Ingleborough by using a computer based “phone find” application.
