A walker ( stated as f, 14) believed she had ‘a fractured foot’, soon after leaving Pen y ghent summit on the descent towards Hull Pot. A visitor (m, 29) sustained an ankle injury, so that he was unable to put weight on it, near Pecca Falls on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. After splinting his ankle, team members assisted the casualty to a Land Rover, parked nearby. This returned him to the Trail car park for his girlfriend to drive him to hospital, on the way home. A climber (f, 20) on Giggleswick Scar North fell approximately 4m, injuring her left ankle. Team members attended and determined that the awkward climbers’ path back to the car park was unsuitable for a stretcher carry. While one group assessed the injured climber, another group rigged the crag for lowering. The climber’s ankle was immobilised with a vacuum splint and the climber was strapped into a Bell stretcher.
