Prior to an official call from North Yorkshire Police, the Team were alerted by friends of an injured fell runner (M, 51yrs) who had slipped and hurt his ankle. Yorkshire Ambulance Service requested CRO’s assistance with a casualty (f, 38) who had reportedly injured her ankle and was unable to walk. When the YAS paramedics and the first CRO members reached the casualty’s supposed location, the casualty was nowhere to be found.
