INCIDENT 32/2025. APR 23rd WED. 12:29 HRS. NR STAINFORTH, NORTH YORKSHIRE

Yorkshire Ambulance Service asked the team to assist with a walker (m, 72) who had slipped down a crag near Stainforth, injuring his arm and ankle.  As the team was assembling in Stainforth, YAS advised that the casualty had managed to get back up the crag and the YAS paramedics on scene did not need the team’s assistance to get the casualty to the ambulance.  The team stood down. INCIDENT 30/2025. APR 14th MON. 11:02 hrs. SCALEBER FORCE, SETTLE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist with a walker (m, 63) who had slipped and sustained an ankle injury at Scaleber Force near Settle.  Team members attended and splinted the ankle.  They then stretchered the casualty out of the steep gorge with a backup rope for safety.  The casualty was carried to a nearby team Land Rover and driven to his friend’s vehicle for onward transport to hospital.…

INCIDENT 28/2025. APR 12th SAT 1639hrs. RAVEN RAY, WATERFALLS TRAIL, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist with a visitor (F, 30) who had slipped whilst on the Waterfalls Trail and hurt her ankle. She was unable to put weight on the ankle or continue her walk. Team members attended , treated the walker and stretchered her to an ambulance waiting nearby. INCIDENT 13/2025. FEB 8th SAT 08.08hrs. WHERNSIDE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were called out by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to assist a walker (M, 35) who had slipped and fallen whilst descending from Whernside on the 3 Peaks Path. He had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to continue.
