A Three Peaks walker (m) was reported to have dislocated a knee high up on Whernside. As members were assembling near the Blea Moor aqueduct, the air ambulance was able to land close to the casualty and effect his rescue with assistance only from other walkers already on site. North Yorkshire Police received a call from an obviously distressed Three Peaks walker (f, 32) who said she was lost on Ingleborough. The sound quality was very poor, then the call dropped out altogether.
