A 70 year old walker was reported overdue and missing by his companions. He had set off from Chapel-le-Dale at 6.30am, on what was the hottest day of the year so far, to walk the three peaks route starting with an ascent of Ingleborough. INCIDENT 42/2022 JUN 18th  SAT. 21.56 SIMON FELL BREAST, INGLEBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

A three peaks walker had fallen slightly behind his companions during their descent from the summit of Ingleborough. Whilst jogging to catch them up the walker tripped, fell and sustained a fracture to his left leg. His foot had become significantly misaligned.
