Just as the team were completing Incident 22, they were informed by the attending Ambulance crew that they had been diverted to a more serious incident elsewhere on the trail, and requested our assistance. Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) requested the team’s assistance to help a walker who had fallen whilst on the Waterfalls Trail. The injured person was eventually found near Pecca Falls, being assisted back to the car park by a companion, as YAS had told them an ambulance would not be available for 4 hours.
