Seven team members returned to the Great and Little Whernside area, this time into Coverdale. They joined a concerted effort to find the missing walker by MRTs from across North and West Yorkshire and search dogs from across northern England from the Lake District to the Peak District. Eleven team members returned to Upper Wharfedale to continue the search for the missing walker. The local team (UWFRA) was also supported by NYP Police Search Advisors, RAF, Swaledale and Calder Valley teams and air assets, together with local farmers and gamekeepers.
