During incident no 36, a caver (m 60) suffered from chest pains whilst at the foot of Gaping Gill where he was helping to manage winch descents of the cave. An 82 year old walker requested help due to feeling faint when trying to walk; it was reported that he had fallen earlier and was now about 1/2 mile from Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
