A female walker fell approximately 20 feet down stone steps near Pecca Falls, losing consciousness for a short while. The team were tasked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist, and located the casualty not far from our rendezvous point. A climber, (male) slipped and fell on the ‘Titter ye not’ pitch at Giggleswick Scar, sustaining a severe injury to his left lower leg as he hit the ground. The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (f) who had slipped and injured her ankle on the steps on the left side of Malham Cove. On arrival, team casualty carers splinted the injury and placed her in a stretcher, before sledging her down to a team vehicle at the bottom of the cove.
