North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) asked for CRO’s assistance in reaching a local resident (m, 94) who had fallen, at home, sustaining a painful hip injury. CRO were called to help search for a vulnerable missing person who had last been seen at 18.55 the previous day. When CRO arrived at Ribblehead we discovered that the missing person had just approached two police officers and was in their care. A paramedic volunteering for CRO checked the persons medical condition and continued to monitor him until the arrival of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Volunteer hours: 34
