Yorkshire Ambulance Service asked for CRO’s assistance following an accident where someone (f, 51), sledging down a slope, collided with a wall, sustaining a serious ankle injury. When team members arrived, the ambulance paramedics had just helped the patient into the road ambulance and were treating her injury. Members and local helpers stood down. Volunteer hours: 11

INCIDENT 69/2021 – AUGUST 30th MON. 13.42 – WATERFALLS WALK, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE – MOUNTAIN INCIDENT

CRO were called out to assist a walker with a head injury sustained from a fall on the waterfalls walk. The first CRO team member on scene found that the injured person was already in the care of Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) paramedics at Beezley farm.
