North Yorkshire Police called for assistance in rescuing a sheep which had fallen into Hull Pot. A small team was dispatched. While one team member abseiled approximately 18m down to the sheep and persuaded it into a flight bag, four other team members set up a hauling system. North Yorkshire Police asked for CRO’s assistance following a report that a group of Three Peaks walkers could not locate one of their members who had become tired and had agreed to wait for the others while they finished the route.
