INCIDENT 69/2025. AUGUST 16th SAT. 1830hrs SIMON FELL BREAST, INGLEBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE.
The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist with a Three Peaks walker (m,27) who had sustained a left ankle injury whilst descending Ingleborough and unable to walk. Following a report of a sheep down a fluted shaft on Newby Moss, a small team were mobilised. to recover the stricken animal. They accessed the site in CRO 1 and CRO 4. One team member descended the shaft and was able to capture the sheep and encourage it into the animal haul sack.
