A climber (m 36) was not able to clip the first bolt at the start of a route, before falling circa 4 metres on to a ledge and suffering a head injury. He was treated by Yorkshire Ambulance Service and air ambulance paramedics at the scene, before being carried from the crag on a stretcher by CRO members and then taken to hospital by air ambulance.
