INCIDENT 41/2023 JUN. 2nd FRI 16.53 LITTLE STAINFORTH, NORTH YORKSHIRE. LOCAL INCIDENT

NYP called for assistance following the disappearance of a visitor (f, 44) believed to be at risk. As members waited at the RV point, the NPAS (Police) helicopter crew reported sighting the misper, sitting on a hill-side and apparently unharmed, about a kilometre from the point where she had last been seen. INCIDENT 13/2023 MAR. 6th MON. 20.01. MALHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE – LOCAL INCIDENT

North Yorkshire Police called CRO following a report of someone threatening self-harm. Team members met in Malham car park and  were organising into search groups when they learned that the police had found the ‘missing’ person, unharmed. The team stood down. Volunteer hours: 30  

INCIDENT 66/2022 AUG. 20th SAT. 21.04  MALHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE – LOCAL INCIDENT

North Yorkshire Police asked for CRO’s assistance in finding someone about whose welfare concern had been expressed and who was understood to be at Malham Cove. Team members gathered in Malham car park to await a briefing, but then NYP officers found the misper in Malham village, safe but very wet, in the heaviest rain for months. INCIDENT 54/2022 19th TUE. 00.43 RIBBLEHEAD, NORTH YORKSHIRE – LOCAL INCIDENT

CRO were called to help search for a vulnerable missing person who had last been seen at 18.55 the previous day. When CRO arrived at Ribblehead we discovered that the missing person had just approached two police officers and was in their care. A paramedic volunteering for CRO checked the persons medical condition and continued to monitor him until the arrival of Yorkshire Ambulance Service. Volunteer hours: 34
