Yorkshire Ambulance Service called CRO for assistance, following a report of a walker (m, 30) who had collapsed and was experiencing difficulty in breathing, below Beezley Falls on the return leg of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. A walker (f, 65) was reported to be feeling dizzy and unable to walk further on the steep path above Pike Lane, Langcliffe. Having been on the ground for a while, she tried, unsuccessfully, to stand again, so NYP was asked to call CRO. A walker (m85) heading towards Austwick on the track from Feizor collapsed due to a suspected cardiac arrest. Despite the best efforts of the walker’s companion, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and CRO, all attempts to revive the walker were sadly unsuccessful. FATAL Volunteer hours: 20
