The Team were called by North Yorkshire Police to a walker (f) who had slipped and injured her ankle on the steps on the left side of Malham Cove. On arrival, team casualty carers splinted the injury and placed her in a stretcher, before sledging her down to a team vehicle at the bottom of the cove. She was then transported to a waiting road ambulance for transfer to hospital.…

North Yorkshire Police asked for assistance in recovering a body from the base of Malham Cove. The deceased was carried across a very fast-flowing beck, then driven down to the village where she was handed over to the undertaker. Meanwhile, a small group of team members went to the top of the Cove to check the edge for any personal possessions or ‘evidence’. FATAL Volunteer hours: 50

The team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to a report of a walker (f, 53) who had fallen whilst walking near Malham Cove, sustaining a shoulder injury. CRO were called out by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help attend to a walker (m 50) who had fallen on steps at Malham Cove. CRO was stood down shortly after getting mobile, when ambulance paramedics advised that they were able to manage the incident. Volunteer hours: 1
