Just as the incident at Giggleswick Scar was concluding the Team were again called; this time by Cumbria Police to assist with a child (M, 10) who had sustained an injury whilst out with a group in Barbondale. North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist a walker (m, 53) who had slipped and injured his leg descending the track from Pen-y-ghent toward Hull Pot. Team members used CRO4, the team’s all terrain vehicle, to reach the casualty who was conveniently right beside the track. The Team were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a visitor (M, 25yrs) who had tripped and dislocated his knee on the top of Malham Cove.
