North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist a walker (m, 53) who had slipped and injured his leg descending the track from Pen-y-ghent toward Hull Pot. Team members used CRO4, the team’s all terrain vehicle, to reach the casualty who was conveniently right beside the track. The Team were called by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with a visitor (M, 25yrs) who had tripped and dislocated his knee on the top of Malham Cove. As the Team were mobilising to the site, our partners from Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) arrived on scene and were able to land close to the site.
