INCIDENT 37/2024. MAY 30th THURS 12.15.PEN Y GHENT, HORTON IN RIBBLESDALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE

The team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to a volunteer member of a working party (M, 65) who was on Pen y Ghent, one of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, repairing the pathway. INCIDENT 36/2024 MAY 26th SUN. 22.00 INGLEBOROUGH/HORTON IN RIBBLESDALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE.

Four members of an original party of twelve Three Peaks walkers had been struggling and were reported overdue on the descent from Ingleborough. With a search plan in place and a handful of team members en route to begin the search, a call was received confirming that the mispers had reached Horton safely. INCIDENT 18/2024. APRIL 9th TUE. 16.49  SOUTHERSCALES FELL, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE

A walker (m, 64) slipped while walking from Ingleborough to Park Fell, sustaining a suspected broken ankle. A ‘hasty party’ (fell-runners with initial equipment) assessed and splinted the injury and put the patient into an insulated casualty bag.
