YAS reported that although an ambulance was on its way from Settle, the crew would need CRO’s assistance with a walker (f, 60) who was  unable to stand, feeling dizzy and faint, at the top of Malham Cove. Swaledale MRT passed on a request from North Yorkshire Police to investigate the sighting, by someone in Horton in Ribblesdale, of ‘large pieces of blue material’ at the side of the path on Pen y ghent.
