Incident 14/2018 – Apr. 1st Sun. 21.09 Sulber Area, Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Two walkers (f59, m58) reported themselves lost ‘after the shooting hut’ on the descent to Horton from Ingleborough summit, and requested that someone call them back with instructions for the route. Repeated attempts to contact them on the number given were unsuccessful, so three small search parties were tasked from Crummackdale, Horton and Borrins to try and locate them. Incident 13/2018 – Mar. 24th Sat. 22.15 Wretched Rabbit / County Pot, Casterton, Cumbria – Cave Rescue

Two cavers (f, f) were reported to be three hours overdue in Wretched Rabbit, Easegill.  Having alerted CRO, other cavers, staying at Bull Pot Farm, went to investigate and found that the two were still underground, unharmed, but moving very slowly. A small group of CRO members waited to make sure that all were safely back at Bull Pot Farm. Volunteer hours:  6  

Incident 12/2018 – Mar. 24th Sat. 13.41 Craven Way Old Road, Dent, Cumbria – Mountain Rescue

A walker (f, 16), on a Gold practice expedition, was taken ill on the Craven Way, to the South-East of Dent.  CRO and the Great North Air Ambulance responded. After the GNAA paramedic had assessed the patient, she was assisted to a team Land Rover, driven down to the road near Whernside Manor and transferred to a NWAS road ambulance for the journey to Westmorland General Hospital.
