A group of Three Peaks walkers called North Yorkshire Police when one of the group (m, 33) went missing between Whernside summit and Philpin Lane after experiencing some difficulties. A team vehicle checked Philpin Lane up to the Hill Inn but failed to locate the missing walker. CRO team members, already on scene for Incident 47, were redeployed to search paths and ridges that the missing walker could have taken. …

A visitor to the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail (f, 54) twisted her ankle on the climb up the steps above Thornton Force, leaving her unable to walk.
