The team were contacted by North Yorkshire Police regarding 5 walkers (f, 35-40), reported overdue on the descent from Ingleborough. A party of four were quickly ascertained to have arrived in Horton safely, but a lone walker was still not accounted for. Two search parties were dispatched to begin checking the route from Horton, but as this happened, the lone walker arrived back at Horton safe and well. Volunteer hours:4

Incident 41/2017 – June 13th Tue. 12.24 – Path from Gordale Bridge to Cawden Flatts, Malham, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue
A walker (m,70) was reported to have collapsed on the path from Gordale Bridge to Cawden Flatts. With no phone signal, the caller returned to Malham to call for help and to collect the village defibrillator, because the patient was believed to have stopped breathing. Incident 38/2017 – June 2nd Fri. 23.02 – Sulber Nick, Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue
Two Three Peaks walkers (both f, 25) reported themselves lost and benighted, while descending from Ingleborough to Horton in Ribblesdale. CRO members soon found them and escorted them down to Horton. Moonlight and their single small light had been inadequate for them to find their way. Volunteer hours: 20

CRO were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to help attend to a walker with an injured ankle on Ingleton waterfalls walk. Though the ambulance was quickly cancelled by the casualty, the first CRO member on scene was able to give assistance. Volunteer hours: 3
