INCIDENT 49/2025. JUNE 10th TUE. 14.03 hrs. MALHAM COVE, MALHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE
A walker (m, 72) became unwell after climbing almost to the top of the steps up the side of Malham Cove. After assessment by YAS paramedics, he was walked very gently back down with support from team members. Accompanied by the paramedics, the walker was returned to the road ambulance in CRO 2 (team Land Rover) for further assessment and the team stood down Volunteer hours 21
INCIDENT 46/2025. MAY 25th (same day) SUN 20.32hrs INGLEBOROUGH, NORTH YORKSHIRE
The team was called by North Yorkshire Police to a missing three peaks walker who had got seperated from his friends on the descent from Ingleborough. Whilst the controllers were making initial enquiries and meeting with the reporting party to get more details about their route the missing walker turned up safe and well. Volunteer hours: 1
INCIDENT 44/2025. MAY 22nd WED. 19:00hrs HULL POT, Nr HORTON IN RIBBLESDALE, NORTH YORKSHIRE
A member of the public alerted North Yorkshire Police to a lamb that had fallen to the bottom of Hull Pot, on the side of Pen-y-Ghent, who then requested the team’s assistance to rescue it.
