A 70 year old walker was reported overdue and missing by his companions. He had set off from Chapel-le-Dale at 6.30am, on what was the hottest day of the year so far, to walk the three peaks route starting with an ascent of Ingleborough. Members were called to a D of E expeditioner (f, 17) who had collapsed while climbing Ingleborough. A phone call to the group’s supervisor established that the person involved had collapsed a second time.
