A fell-runner (f, 57) slipped on a muddy patch while ascending Park Fell from Colt Park, near Ribblehead, sustaining a suspected ankle fracture. A paraglider pilot (f, 53) made a very hard landing near Tow Scar, Kingsdale, and was then dragged along the ground by her canopy, sustaining very painful rib and possibly back and pelvic injuries.
