The team was contacted by Yorkshire Ambulance Service regarding a male walker (72) who had collapsed while out walking with a party of friends. Team members and vehicles attended at the incident site, as did Yorkshire Air Ambulance, YAS, and North Yorkshire Police. A member of the public reported a sheep stuck on a ledge in a disused quarry near Ingleton. The team gave the sheep an opportunity to self-rescue. When it did not do so, team members attended and, having discussed the situation with the farmer, set up a rope rescue system.
