Incident 14/2018 – Apr. 1st Sun. 21.09 Sulber Area, Ingleborough, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

Two walkers (f59, m58) reported themselves lost ‘after the shooting hut’ on the descent to Horton from Ingleborough summit, and requested that someone call them back with instructions for the route. Repeated attempts to contact them on the number given were unsuccessful, so three small search parties were tasked from Crummackdale, Horton and Borrins to try and locate them. NEW SERVICE FOR THREE PEAKS WALKERS

    From this Sunday, a new service will be launched to help walkers on the Yorkshire Three Peaks who can’t quite go the whole distance. By popular demand, an evening bus service is to be provided from Sulber Nick (see photograph) to Horton in Ribblesdale. Incident 13/2018 – Mar. 24th Sat. 22.15 Wretched Rabbit / County Pot, Casterton, Cumbria – Cave Rescue

Two cavers (f, f) were reported to be three hours overdue in Wretched Rabbit, Easegill.  Having alerted CRO, other cavers, staying at Bull Pot Farm, went to investigate and found that the two were still underground, unharmed, but moving very slowly.
