INCIDENT 31/2020 – Jul. 8th. Wed 13.55hrs – Foxup, Littondale – Mountain Incident

CRO were called by our neighbours, Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA), to assist with an incident near Foxup. A 74 year old male had been injured when he was thrown off his quad bike on the slopes of Plover Hill. The injured person was cared for by Yorkshire Air Ambulance paramedics and transferred to hospital in their aircraft. Volunteer hours: 10

INCIDENT 05/2019 – Jan. 25th. Fri. 13.35hrs – Leck Fell, Cowan Bridge, Lancashire – Mountain Rescue

A quad bike rider assisting in a game shoot, rolled his vehicle and sustained back injuries. Incident 81/2017 – Oct. 18th Wed. 15.33 – Above the track to Trow Gill, Clapham, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.

A CRO member driving down towards Clapham, to collect more members for incident no 80, became aware of a quad bike bouncing and rolling down the steep hill towards the track.
