Incident 15/2017 – Apr. 2nd Sun. 17.45 – Baxenghyll Gorge, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue.

The team were requested by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist helimed 98 with the evacuation of a photographer (m) who had suffered a broken leg whilst on the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Team members escorted the air paramedics to the casualty and assisted with preparing him for transfer to a road ambulance which arrived shortly after. Incident 1/2017 – Jan. 1st Sun. 15.20 – River Doe, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – River Rescue.

The team were called by the Ambulance Service and Police after multiple calls were received to a person (m,40) fallen into the River Doe on the Ingleton Waterfalls walk, possibly above Snow Falls. On arrival at the scene, the casualty had already been pulled from the river above Storrs Common by a passer by, and ambulance and air ambulance paramedics were rapidly on scene. Incident 42/2016 – Jun 12th Sun. 19.03 – Storrs Common, Ingleton, North Yorkshire – Mountain Rescue

A woman (79) slipped and fell on Storrs Common, having just completed the Waterfalls Walk. A local man called for an ambulance and alerted the team due to the location, knowing access would be difficult for an ambulance. Team members carried out initial treatment of the woman, and splinted her for arm and suspected shoulder injuries, before stretchering her to a waiting ambulance in Ingleton.
