A visitor (f, 43) injured an ankle on the path between Pecca Falls and Thornton Force and was unable to put weight on it. On arrival at ‘Tom’s Cabin’, YAS paramedics and team members splinted the patient’s lower leg and stretchered her a short distance to a team Land Rover. This took her to the road ambulance, waiting on the Kingsdale road, then took her husband down to their car, in the car park, before returning to Base.
